This heat pump course meets the training entry requirements for the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS). Details of MCS and how to join also covered in the course.

Joining requirements
To get the most out of this course you will need to hold one of the following qualifications:
- Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ or SVQ in plumbing / heating & ventilation / gas / oil Installation and Maintenance qualification
- Valid Core Gas Safety (CCN1) certificate must be involved in the installation of heating systems
- OFTEC Oil certificate
- Valid HETAS certificate
Also, if you don't already have these qualifications as part of an NVQ you have taken you will need:
- WRAS Water Regulations
