LG Heat Pumps

LG have a range of monobloc air to water heat pumps called Therma V which has outputs from 5kW to 16kW. The Therma V range operates on the low Global Warming Potential (GWP) refrigerant R32. Our LG Heat Pumps are MCS approved, meaning there is access to Government grant schemes. The product meets with the stringent tests required to achieve the MCS status.

One of the key features of the Therma V range is that the units operate at 100% capacity even when the outside temperature is -7°C. This means that if a 16kW unit is installed, the unit will still give an output of 16kW even in low ambient temperatures. In comparison to other heat pumps on the market, there tends to be a drop off in capacity when the outside temperatures are low. This will give the homeowner peace of mind that their home will be heated during the cold months of winter without the need for any backup heating.

The LG units have a low noise level and utilises LG’s own R1 scroll compressor making the units very efficient and reliable.

A 7 year warranty can be provided to installers who have attended the LG manufacturers training course which can be attended at Unitherm's Training Academy.

Unitherm supply the Therma V unit with a range of accessories to include standalone or pre-plumbed hot water cylinders, anti-vibration feet, flexible hoses, strainer, thermostat for a complete system package.
